The World of Tomorrow: Industry and Innovation

The World of Tomorrow: Industry and Innovation

3rd edition (2009): The World of Tomorrow: Industry and Innovation

Industry is one of the cornerstones of the Catalan economy. In a globalized world and in times of crisis, solutions from the “real” economy and foundations on which to base a new concept of growth are sought. It is therefore time to look at industry as a sector that traditionally has given life to Catalan society and which generates innovative concepts.

The Forum featured two leading speakers who offered their views on future trends: Esko Aho, Esko Aho, Nokia’s Vice President and Prime Minister of Finland (1991-1995), and Pedro Luis Uriarte, President of Innobasque.
