8th edition (2014): The Wealth of Nations in the 21st Century

On the occasion of the celebration of FemCAT’s tenth anniversary, the foundation organized, jointly with the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, an encounter in which three leading international experts in economics discussed issues of the current world economy.

Robert E. Lucas, of the University of Chicago, and Edward C. Prescott, of Arizona State University, economists and researchers who have been honored with a Nobel Prize, and Chong-En Bai, Professor of Economics at Tsinghua University China, – all members of the Scientific Council of the Barcelona GSE – participated in a round table entitled “the Wealth of Nations in the 21st Century.” The table was chaired by Andreu Mas-Colell, Minister of Economy and Knowledge of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
